Nurse Aide is an important role in communities, providing much needed support for residents.

Position involves some of the following functions .

• Perform medication assistance and care duties such as Catheter Care, BP Monitoring, Mobility.
• Exercises, medication assistance and administration including insulin injections.
• Eye drops, inserting rectal suppository, inhalers etc.
• Answering call bells, alarms and provide exceptional care; Make residents bed, bathe, dress.
• Groom patients. Serve meals and if required feed or assist in feeding.
• Note and record residents medical and other movement activities as assigned.
• Move residents by wheelchair / Stretcher between facilities.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, and residents,' files.
• Attend to emergency situations and provide first aid within the scope of competencies.

Eligibility

• Minimum of 01 year at long term care experience
• College Diploma / NVQ level 3 and Care aide certification program
• Excellent Command in verbal and written English language skills level
• Able to complete General IELTS with average of 6, no subjects less than 5.5.
• Valid medical Report inclusive of TB / Chest X-ray taken within 01 year
• Active First aid & CPR training certificate

• Registered Nurse (RN)/Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) student with a minimum successful completion of one year of school OR
• Foreign-trained Registered Nurse, Registered Practical Nurse, Midwife or Physician
